The wheels of progress are turning, as Otis Peabody’s plans to extend Hill Valley have been accepted. Mr. Peabody asked for permission to extend the town into hundreds of acres of land that is currently part of the Twin Pines Ranch. Signs for new developments have begun to appear across the farmland, the most significant of which being Lyon Estates, incorporating the East Village E20 housing development, which promises to deliver “The houses of tomorrow… Today!”. The project, which is located on a now vacant plot of Peabody’s Twin Pines Ranch, will provide modern housing for future residents of the growing town. Housing in Hill Valley is a valuable commodity after the success of the “Move to Hill Valley” tourism programme, launched by Mayor Red Thomas earlier this year. Families and professionals from all across America will proudly be making Hill Valley their home as the plan kicks into full force this fall. With major developments like this one afoot, there’s no question the town is speeding headfirst into the future and Hill Valley is certain to remain a “Nice Place to Live” for the residents of tomorrow as well as today.
